How to Make Drum n Bass Beats Yourself

“Today, making drum n bass beats at home is not a problem. With the various types of software for beat shifting and pitch shifting, it has become easier than ever to create these beats at home. Long gone are the days when you had to manually cut and join music reels to make the record sound the way you wanted it to. Now, you can just get a couple of software and start making your own drum n bass beats. Here are some tips for you to get going:
First off, get a sequencer of good quality to start with. Once you have the sequencer, set its temperature somewhere from 160 to 190. This is basically the range in which you can create drum n bass beats. The next thing you need is a 4/4 bar. Once you have this, set the drum machine to 16. If you are using a sequencer then set it to 15 or 16. To make sure you are doing it right, do the 1, 2, 3 and 4 beat it should break down into four pieces.
Once you are done with the tempo, the next thing you need to focus on is adding the drum n bass sound. Start with the basic bass pattern which is the four bass patterns. You need to hit the pattern on the down beat and add in snare on every 2nd and 4th beat. Once you are done with this, you simply need to add the high hat beat for all the four bars and your drum n bass beats will be ready!
